Bayou Creek Alpacas started with the dream of having a simpler way of life, a financial opportunity for retirement, a chance to work with our hands and our hearts, and to raise animals that would not only be profitable but also be enjoyable to work with each day. We have been breeding Alpacas since 1996 and our herd is diversified with bloodlines from Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and North America. Our top breeding goal is ongoing genetic gain in conformation and fiber. Along with that, we are in love with the beautiful colors our alpacas show us and want to preserve the diversity of color currently present. We are committed to the sale of quality breeding stock, luxury fiber, and end products from the world’s finest livestock.

Bayou Creek Alpacas offers a wide variety of services:

· breeding stock: in individual purchases or multiple packages, all ARI registered, in a wide choice of colors, with on-farm financing available.
· stud services: from award winning herdsires.
· education and support: to make your investment in alpacas profitable and enjoyable.
· brokering: we will help you market your alpacas when you are ready.
· sale of alpaca products: including raw fiber, roving, yarn, and finished goods.
· we regularly present seminars: on fiber, end product development and sales, dyeing techniques with alpaca, photographing your alpacas, and sorting and grading of alpaca fiber.
